What is CUET?
CUET is combined university entrance test conducted by national testing agency of India. The aim of CUET is to bring uniformity for entrance to various colleges and universities of India.
How CUET is different from boards exams?
Various boards conducted across India are aiming for uniformity of students passing out from 12th grade.
Whereas CUET is for entrance to various universities and colleges.
As students aim to enter colleges for higher education, government aims to have uniformity in education. Entrance exams for professional courses are aimed for minimum benchmark to study for professional courses like management, engineering, but now for academic courses also government is aiming to bring a uniform approach.
Why preparation for board exams is different from CUET preparation?
Thus study for CUET is based on 12th course ware but is still different. The syllabus might be same as of 12th grade but approach to take the CUET examination is very different.
